The City seems to weave a magic all of it's own ensuring the Geordie folk are never left without prospect of employment. This could easily reflect caring local Politicians and Government over the years despite disputes over high council tax. The History of this magic cannot just come from the City itself or is the city really working a spell protecting its own?
